Dr. Hansen accepts Visa and Mastercard as well as cash and personal check. Please note that if a check is returned, you will be charged the bank fee and checks will no longer be accepted.
Insurance Plans Accepted
At this time, Dr. Hansen is in-network with Medicare and WebTPA for insurances. As a courtesy, she will submit to other insurance plans on your behalf, but you will have to self pay at the time of service.
Why does she not take all insurances?
Dr. Hansen is very particular about what insurances she accepts due to her commitment to maintain client confidentiality. Unfortunately, many insurance companies require your confidential records to be sent to them for payment for service. While this is more understandable in medical care, your therapy progress notes may contain some very confidential information about you that you do not want others to know. Given this, Dr. Hansen has declined several insurance panels so as to maintain your privacy.
Can I bill Court Ordered services to insurance?
No. There is no billing code for court ordered services. Therefore, all court ordered services are self pay.
When does Dr. Hansen want a retainer?
Dr. Hansen uses retainers as payment in court ordered work and expert consultation on cases. The service determines the retainer. Dr. Hansen would be happy to speak to your attorney before hand regarding retainers and payments.
Can I send Dr. Hansen my credit card information via email?
